On Monday 15th July, each class will be throwing open their classroom doors at 2:30pm and inviting their parents to an Art Exhibition of all the amazing art work the children have created throughout arts week the previous week. We will then be inviting parents to buy their children’s art work for as much or as little as they can afford.

Our End of Year Children’s Disco returns! As usual, this will be for children only and will be supervised by school staff. The sessions are as follows…

Reception from 3:40pm to 4:30pm
Year 1 from 4:40pm to 5:30pm
Year 2 from 5:40pm to 6:30pm

Jade class and Emerald class have been working together (hence the ‘Jemerald’) for a number of weeks, on a number of songs and we would really like to showcase our singing talents for you all in our very own concert at the end of term!

Summer Challenges
In these challenges we will be focusing on the environment and climate
change!

On the 24th June at 9 am – 11am we would like to hold an aspirations workshop for our children.

Aspiration Day

This year main school summer trip will be to the Great Yarmouth Hippodrome Circus on Tuesday 16^th July to see the Summer Spectacular show. After the show the children will enjoy their packed lunch on the beach.

HIPPODROME 2019

Over the next eight weeks we shall be carrying out a project to improve our children’s use and understanding of vocabulary. Vocabulary underpins everything we do and is closely connected with reading and writing. Children need to be able to understand words if they are to develop understanding of what they read across all subjects.
