Scarecrow Competition
We are inviting you and your children to create a scarecrow at home (maybe with a circus theme?!) that you
can bring into school to be showcased at the FOSSA BBQ on Friday 21st June. School Council will then choose a
winner from each class that will permanently live in that class’s growing bed. The rest of the scarecrows will
then be attached to the fence around the school field, or can be taken home if you wish.

Circus Workshop Letter
We are very pleased to have booked a fantastic circus experience for your child in school. This will allow us to bring the Summer term theme of ‘Circus’ to life for the children.
Ofsted Report and covering letter
We are delighted to share with you our most recent Ofsted report.
Mrs Davies (Head teacher) has also written a covering letter about the report.
Special Visitors to Sparhawk next week.
At Sparhawk we are always looking for ways to enrich and widen the
children’s experiences. We have been lucky enough to gain a place on a pilot programme
in association with LEAF education, based at the Norfolk Showground. On Monday 25th
March we will be taking delivery of a Ewe and her lamb.
Lego Letter
Please help Sparhawk to get as many tokens as possible.
Let’s be aiming for that fantastic £1,000 worth of Lego.

Crisp Bag Recycling
As a school we are taking part in a recycling scheme to support
Hodmedod’s hedgehog rescue and support centre. We are going to
be collecting crisp packets – any brand – which will then be
recycled, with Hodmedods receiving donations for the crisp packets
we collect.
